About Al Zimbler

Al (Albert) Zimbler is a retired Certified Public Accountant who has found his second calling after taking a sketch comedy class at Second City in Chicago; improv classes at Harper College (Palatine, IL), Piven Theater (Evanston, IL), New Trier Extension (Northfield, IL) and UCLA Extension (Los Angeles); and comedy writing with Judy Carter in Los Angeles.
He leads a group of improvisers in the MEL (Men Enjoying Leisure) group of 119 members in the Chicago area. He has previously appeared on two daily programs on a cruise from Los Angeles to Australia on the Queen Elizabeth II, and more recently he has appeared on two daily programs on the Royal Caribbean Cruise ship Brilliance of the Seas.
